The Gnu’s Room is pleased to welcome the Opelika-based duo Low June on Saturday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m. Armed with a guitar, banjo, djembe and various other folk instruments, Low June’s goal is to create minimalistic songs inspired by spirituals and old folk melodies. Copies of Low June’s CD I’m By Your Side will be available for purchase. There is no cover, but all donations will go to the musicians.
